The money you raise will help our project partners transform the lives of children living with disabilities, those living in crisis families, orphans and abandoned babies in Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine – talk to us about any specific areas of our work to which you particularly want to contribute.

• You can ask us to use it in a particular country or project.
  
  

• You can ask us to put the money towards a specific item – especially in the purchase of the much-needed equipment for our new Children’s Health Centre in Moldova, or to help one of our foster families prepare their home for the arrival of an orphan.
  
  

• Or you can simply ask us to decide and we will direct the money you raise to where it is most needed.
  
  

• If you buy one or more of our alternative gifts that last forever that is exactly what the child will receive.
  
  

• If you join our Child or Project Sponsorship Scheme your money will help transform the life of the children you support and you will receive regular information about them.
  
  

• Please consider supporting this year’s special campaign: Year of Light for Ukrainian Orphans 2009-10 to transform the lives of abandoned babies, children needing foster families and orphans leaving institutions that need the help and training we give that make sure they can lead independent lives.
  
  

• DON’T FORGET if you send a personal donation and pay tax in the UK you can help us substantially increase the value of that donation by signing a Gift Aid form obtainable from our website. Click here.
  
  

• If you are a “higher rate” taxpayer nominate ChildAid as your charity so that we can reclaim the benefit.
