Fundraising Out and About
Are you a sports person? If so, there are many different sports events which offer the opportunity to do something you’ll enjoy, get and keep fit – and support ChildAid through sponsorship all at the same time.
Sometimes ChildAid has a team of supporters who compete in various events (most recently the annual London 10k Run) or arranges its own events and fun days. Call the office or go to our website to learn what is happening and how you can get involved.

Do you play cricket, play football, golf or some other team game? If so could your team hold a special charity match for us and allow us to advertise in the match day programme?
But it doesn’t have to be sporty! Musical performances, Story telling and Flower festivals or demonstrations of a particular skill often attract large audiences –and so raise large sums.
If you have an unusual house or garden you could open it to invited guests, charging for entry and any refreshments you may provide.
Are you a member of an amateur dramatic group or film club? Could you have a charity gala night and send the proceeds to transform the lives of children.
Perhaps you are a member of a Club, Livery Company, Chamber of Commerce or Professional organisation and could hold an event for fellow members on our behalf. Your Club or organisation might also wish to sponsor a table (or something similar) at one of our events for Major donors.
Who do you know? Anyone famous or with a national reputation in their area of work? Can they help us transform lives?
